One Hat.

Thousands
of Meals.

When the devastating twin earthquakes struck Venezuela on June 24th, 2026, our family watched from California with the same feeling shared by millions of people around the world: we wanted to help.

My family emigrated from Venezuela when I was nine years old, but some of my earliest memories are still there. I remember driving from Caracas to the coast, watching the Caribbean come into view, stopping in Catia La Mar for arepas, empanadas de cazón (fish turnovers), and raspados (the equivalent of Hawaiian ice) by the beach. When the earthquake struck, those weren't just places on a map, they were places from my childhood memories.

Watching the news with my son and the Instagram posts from so many people describing the rescue missions under the rubble, the despair, the displacement, and the hunger compelled us to action.

Our son Liam, a high school student, started with a small idea to raise funds with local neighbors but it turned into something bigger. He asked us.

“What if something people wore every day could become a symbol of kindness, compassion, and hope? What if a hat could raise charity and awareness at the same time? What if hats could help feed thousands of people?”

That simple idea became
Venezuela Strong.

Our Impact - Benefiting World Central Kitchen

Venezuela Strong raises funds for earthquake relief in Venezuela. All of the proceeds from every purchase are donated to World Central Kitchen to help provide fresh meals to families and frontline responders.

Because when disaster strikes, one of the most immediate and meaningful ways to help is to ensure people have access to food.

As this community grows, we'll share fundraising milestones and donation updates so our supporters can see the impact we're making together.

Venezuela Strong isn't just our family's story. Whether you buy a hat, share our mission, or simply tell someone why this movement exists, you're helping families know they haven't been forgotten.
